Available features
AudioCompressor is a free browser tool that converts audio the browser can decode to MP3. It provides bitrate, channel and sample-rate settings, peak adjustment, original and result playback, and MP3 download.
Files and limits
Select files you are authorized to use. One file is processed at a time, with limits of 50 MiB, 10 minutes and 256 MiB of decoded PCM. Processing can fail depending on the device and browser.
Check the result
MP3 uses lossy compression and can sound different from the original. Some settings can make the result larger. Keep important originals and check playback and actual file size before using the result.
Using the site
The tool is provided without signup or payment and may display advertising. It does not grant copyright ownership or permission to use source audio. File selection and conversion take place on your device.
